Jazz music was born on the hot streets of New Orleans, sprinkled with rum and fueled by magic and witchcraft. It was in that place that the black bluesmen combined the West African rhythms with the oral harmonica and guitar, giving their music wistful and tender tones. Thanks to their efforts, we can now listen to the most beautiful jazz and blues performers who visit our country this year!
In March there will be a concert Joe Bonamassa, a wonderful child of the eighties, whose the music is now called postmodern blues. It's a combination of very blues sounds with rock licks.
The creator of a timeless hit, Do not Worry, Be Happy will visit our capital in May. Bobby McFerrin, a talented, never-grieving artist, will perform at the Arena Ursynw.
